Hi Pete,
Are you there yet, are you there yet ![]()
You must be in the arms of the beautiful (and wonderfully capable) Fiona by now, lucky man!
Lucky man with a generous and adventurous heart – thank you so much for raising funds for my son’s school. You must drop into the school once you settle back in Melbourne to sign some autographs; your fan base is increasing by the day Pete.
Also, thanks for the opportunity to discover (another) one of my hidden talents: I love this whole process of creating and updating your website – and of course able to follow through your journey – it’s been, like some of the kids say “owesome !!”, that’s you Pete.
Your Webmaster

Great to hear you are nearly there Peter. What a fantastic effort..you are amazing. Hope to meet you at BSDS when you get back.

Human people usually become better ones after facing strong own difficulties.
When those tests are selected by voluntary reasons in order to support others handicaped young people, then you become stronger and happier.

Iâm so very proud of your achievements and Iâm truly in awe of your determination and selflessness! It comes as no surprise to me that you would choose to contribute to the lives of others in such a courageous way, and every time I tell someone what youâre undertaking I get an immense sense of pride in saying thatâs my Dad!
With only 428Km to go, I hope you are as proud of your achievements as we are here back home!

Peter Morrison…..you r something else! Nearly there!! I have only just gone thru all your diary entries after finding the web link in my last email to Fiona. Sorry it has taken me so long and what adventures and spirit you have endured. Here in downtown Bangkok it seems pretty safe and easy compared to what you have achieved. With just metres (well not quite) to go, your sense of achievement and spirit is humbling. You will certainly have lots of memories to take with you onto all those future business flights that face you in the not so distant future, along with the knowledge of knowing that most people are wonderful and that has only been defined by the many folk you have come into contact with. I dunno when I will be back in Oz again, but I send you congratulations and a big hug. My next Singa I will toast you!! Kathryn

Hi Peter
With your current challenge, we (MT from HK) are all so surprised and proud of
you.
Enjoy your holidays ^_^
Kate Fletcher
Hello Pete! So good to read your diary! I’m glad you’re safe and feeling the
challenge (at least a bit). A tip on the head winds – ask a friendly passer-by
(or roo for that matter) to slow down so you can glide behind them (I’m sure
there’s a clycling term for it. I hope you’re enjoying the big wide open spaces,
having a clear head and pumping all those lovely endorphines into your body.
Keep trucking and keep that knife close by at night. Kate
Elizabeth Button
Awesome effort Peter. Surely this will inspire the likes of me to just get fit!
Keep those legs pumping and stay safe. Thinking of you.
Dale Price
Hey Pete – just make sure that you’re maximising our brand exposure positively
with those famous jerseys and knicks.
Just remember… breathe in – breathe out and all will be fine. Keep up the
excellent result in your one-man peleton and I’m sure Lance will be proud of
you. I’ve got you an Entry Form for next year’s Tour de France. Dale
Andrew Smart
Peter,
I didn’t know you were on another trip. I’ll share a story with you about
Kulgera in 1981, just over the NT border on your return. You must be close by it
right now. At that time the road was not sealed until that point, and if it
rained heavily enough, there was a high chance of being stranded between Cooper
Pedy and the NT border for several days. I avoided this by a hair’s breadth.
What a great thing your doing. I hope all goes well, Regards, Andrew.
